Heinz Beans

Never meet your heroes...

This whole site started because I started eating beans more once I discovered how delicious beans on toast is. Beans on toast, a quintessential British comfort food, what better way to bring it full circle than to eat beans on toast with THE Heinz Beans.

Unfortunately, I found these beans significantly lacking in flavor. The beans, the tomato sauce, the combination of the two just did not match the level of legumes beans of the week is used to eating. It was NOT a delight to eat.

Ultimately, the bean enjoyers gotta try the Heinz Beans on some toast once in their lives but closer and tastier alternatives exist (like Amy's Baked Beans!)
